“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”- Acts 4:12 (NIV)
Time’s up! Today is the day of your salvation, for tomorrow is promised to no one. Stop procrastinating, for procrastination is the thief of time, and time is running out (James 4:13-15).
Research conducted at the beginning of the 21st Century revealed that fifty-six million people die per year, which equates to one hundred and fifty-three thousand, four hundred and twenty-five (153,425) persons per day, and the majority of deaths are among boys and men. It begs the question: How many of those who died accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour?
Beloved, hell is real. Revelation 21:8 (NIV) states that “…the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur…” Yes, those who do not believe in Jesus will perish (John 3:16, John 3:36, Matthew 25:41). In John 10:10, Jesus made mention of satan’s mission statement when He declared that ‘the thief (devil) comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I (Jesus) come to give life and life more abundantly.’
In Luke 19:1-10, there is an account of Jesus visiting the home of the despised, corrupt tax collector, Zacchaeus, and declaring to him, “…Today salvation has come to this house…” (V 9). Jesus made this declaration after the tax collector made a commitment to give half of his possessions to the poor and to pay back four times the amount to those whom he had cheated.
When Jesus enters or is accepted into a person’s life or home, He brings immediate transformation, blessings, and Salvation. I urge you to invite Him into your home and into your heart today. Salvation is free, but Jesus paid the price with His life on the cross of Calvary. Time is of the essence; Christ is coming soon.
